What we collect when you contact us about a home loan, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
When you call, email or send the application form on this site, we collect the information you give us. That includes your name, phone number, email address, the property you are asking about, and the financial details you choose to share so we can price a loan. If your file moves forward, we also collect the documents a lender requires, such as income and asset statements and a credit report pulled with your authorization.
This site records basic technical information through standard web analytics, including pages visited and general location. That data stays separate from any loan file.
We use your information to answer your question, to price and structure a loan, to submit your file to lenders on your behalf, and to keep you informed while that file is open. We contact you at the number and address you provide, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
We share your information with the lenders, credit reporting agencies, title companies, appraisers and settlement service providers who need it to complete your transaction, and with regulators where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Your file goes to lenders. It does not go to a list.
We pull credit only with your authorization. Multiple mortgage inquiries inside a short shopping window count as a single event under most scoring models. Credit bureaus sell lists of recent mortgage inquiries, which is why some borrowers receive calls from lenders they never contacted. You can opt out of those lists at optoutprescreen.com.
We follow the safeguards required of financial institutions under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, including restricting access to your file to the people working on it and transmitting documents through secure channels. Please send sensitive documents through the secure portal we provide rather than by plain email.
Loan files are retained for the period federal and Colorado law require, which is generally several years after closing or after a file is withdrawn. Inquiries that never became applications are kept only as long as they are useful to you.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop contacting you, and withdraw an application at any time. Call (720) 900-6697 or write to the office address below and a person will handle it.
